“Orchard” Photoshoot

I mowed the “orchard” yesterday and saw how things were going up there…this morning I took the camera.

The Blackcurrants / Cassis are ripening..

So are the Redcurrants. This made me go back up with a macro lens.

The Apricots still have a long way to go…

Looks like I killed a Slow Worm with the mower. This one was quite young. There is an older and larger one which lives in the grass cuttings.

Apples are coming along. We have a decision to make, to brew or not to brew later in the year.

There are scores of these little toads as a result of the orgy in the pond earlier this year. This chap is ~1.5cm long.
